Compressive force is used by a Jaw Crusher to break down material. This mechanical pressure is generated by the two jaw dies of the crusher, one stationary and one moveable. The crushing chamber is formed by these two vertical manganese jaw dies, which form a V-shaped hollow with the top bigger than the bottom. The upper aperture of the crushing chamber determines the size of a jaw crusher. Jaw Crushers are used to decrease the size of a wide range of materials in a variety of applications.
